MSAC seeking public feedback
The New South Wales Mine Safety Advisory Council has outlined its strategic actions to 2017 Actions for a world-leading Work Health and Safety to 2017 plan, with State Minister for Resources and Energy calling for public comment.
The document outlines how MSAC and industry intends to collaborate over the coming five years in a bid to achieve world-leading work health and safety in the state’s mining sector.
MSAC is a collaborative forum between NSW Trade & Investment, the NSW Minerals Council, Cement Concrete and Aggregates Australia, the Australian Workers Union and the CFMEU – Mining and Energy Division. MSAC also has independent members who have expertise in health and safety.
