About the Role
As the Engineering Manager, you’ll lead our Yatala site’s Engineering Department, overseeing preventative maintenance and minimising downtime. Working closely with production teams, you’ll foster a proactive safety culture and implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure optimal equipment reliability. Your role will be instrumental in creating an engaged and high-performing maintenance team aligned with Visy’s commitment to excellence.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Lead preventative maintenance and asset management programs to maximise uptime and efficiency.
- Oversee budget management and deliver timely, accurate performance reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on waste reduction and productivity gains.
- Develop and motivate a skilled, engaged team, ensuring a positive and safe work culture.
What you will bring to the team
- Proven engineering or maintenance management experience within manufacturing.
- Success in implementing preventative maintenance and continuous improvement strategies.
- Relevant engineering qualifications; certifications in lean or frontline management are highly regarded.
- A commitment to safety, compliance, and fostering an engaged team environment.
