One of their specialist areas of expertise is the construction of road and transport infrastructure for private and public sector clients. A recent tender win means they have an IMMEDIATE requirement for a top-class civil SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER to join their WA team to deliver a Pilbara road/pavement project.
  
About the Role
  
This is wonderful SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER role with a prominent national civil contractor where you will be working on 2/1 FIFO basis ex-Perth, that will provide a rewarding 30% site uplift on top of a generous base salary. The project itself involves the construction of a $25m road and pavement scope of works being undertaken in WA’s Pilbara region. As SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER you will join an experienced site construction team to lead and support junior engineers and oversee the successful execution of the project delivery plan that will run through to August 2025. Your responsibilities as SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER will include planning and programming of the works, cost management and reporting on “cost-to-complete”, subcontractor management, contractual management and client liaison.

This SPE role will suit a tertiary qualified Civil Engineer who has proven experience delivering $20-40m roads, highways and pavement projects (ie. Aerodrome/airport runways) while employed by civil contractors in Australia. As the successful applicant you will receive an exceptional remuneration package of CIRCA $160-170K base + 30% uplift and Super , plus vehicle when on site. Qualifications, Experience and Other Requirements   

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (*minimum)
• Stable 6-10 years’ of civil construction experience as PROJECT ENGINEER/ SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER for Civil Contractors
• Proven experience managing $20-40m road/highway/freeway/runway/pavement projects in Australia
• Previous experience on full road construction and surfacing projects from interstate will be considered
• Willingness and ability to undertake FIFO 2/1 roster (ex-Perth/WA only) 
• Excellent all-round interpersonal skills to lead teams and manage the client interface
• Existing rights to work in Australia
• Available within 4 weeks’ notice maximum
• Able to supply 2 favorable references from the last 5 years
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and DAS testing
